Research Interests: I'm preparing a
text edition of Codex Unia (Ms. Junius 49 and 109),
a 17th century direct copy of a 15th century Old-
Frisian ms. Codex Unia is of special interest for its
archaic Old-Frisian from the region west of the
river Lauwers. It is the most linguistically archaic
ms. from this region and hence of interest to the
further study of Old-Frisian.

Syriac and Aramaic manuscripts, their
palaeography and codicology (as well as textual
contents!), of all periods and regions, and have
catalogued or am cataloguing major collections in
the UK and India. I also have a strong interest in
the history of Syriac printing and typography in
Europe, the Middle East, and India, and have just
published an annotated handlist of printed Syriac
lexica.
