Chapter Three

Gallery of Affection, Friendship and Association, 1820s-1830s

Most of the photographs in the four 'galleries' in this exhibition (Chapters Three; Six; Nine and Fourteen) are taken from portraits hanging at Hughenden Manor, including several from the 'Gallery of Affection' which now hang on the staircase.
