Summary Catalogue, V, pp. 843-55, etc.
The following note is adapted from ibid., pp. 844-5.
This collection was formed by H. O. Coxe (Bodley's Librarian) probably not long before August 1877, when he finished a catalogue Codices Miscellanei Liturgici e bibliothecis variis præcipue Canoniciana selecti et hodie in Camera Laudiana servati. The collection, however, which at Coxe's death in 1880 consisted of 400 volumes, in 1885 of 412 and in 1887 of 425, was about these latter dates largely broken up by the Canonici, Rawlinson, and Marshall volumes being restored to their original collections.
