Gilbert Elliot (1800-91) was Dean of Bristol.

Materials for a chronological bibliography of books on religious subjects (including sermons) printed in the British Isles, compiled by Gilbert Elliot, consisting of transcripts of titles, literary references, and notebooks.

The papers were presented to the Library by Margaret Elliot on 3 November 1891.
