James Thomas Irvine (1825-1900) was an architect.

Eleven volumes of sketches by James T. Irvine, consisting of:

• Architectural views and details of churches, mainly in Huntingdonshire and Northamptonshire, with some drawings of antiquities and plans, and a few letters, photographs and prints
• Elaborate drawings of architectural details of Lichfield Cathedral, Staffordshire, with precise measurements, almost all made in connection with the restoration of the fabric

The volumes were presented to the Library by G.G. Irvine of Aberdeen in 1900.
