Legal papers of the Madan and Gresley families of Leicestershire. They include the marriage settlement of Spencer Madan (1729-1813) and Henrietta Inge; probate copies of wills of members of the Madan family such as Spencer Madan (1758-1836), with related documents, 1788-1871; and the family and marriage settlements of the Gresley family, with related correspondence and papers, 1811-95.
