Papers of Charles Kirkpatrick Sharpe, consisting of:

• Correspondence and literary pieces, 1794-1844, consisting chiefly of some letters written by him, and many letters to him from intimate friends
• 371 letters and papers, chiefly adressed to Sharpe, 1793-1846, arranged in alphabetical order of writers' name

The papers were partly presented by Rev. W.K.R. Bedford in 1902, and partly bought from J. Hardie Brown, bookseller of Edinburgh, in 1902.
