The collection was bound in 1865.

Other Finding Aids

Falconer Madan, et al., A summary catalogue of western manuscripts in the Bodleian Library at Oxford which have not hitherto been catalogued in the Quarto series (7 vols. in 8 [vol. II in 2 parts], Oxford, 1895-1953; reprinted, with corrections in vols. I and VII, Munich, 1980), vol. III, nos. 10859-10883 and vol. V, nos. 27863-27864.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The papers are stated by Mr Macray (Annals of the Bodleian Library, 2nd ed., p. 230) to have been received from Walker's son William, a druggist in Exeter, in 1754, but the paper on which this statement is based cannot now be found, and the Library records mention the gift under 1756.
