She subsequently married an Eynsham ropemaker, James Wall, who set up a ropemaking business in the High Street. This business was continued by his son Jabez and developed late in the 19th century into a general goods store and builders merchants. His son, Jabez James Wall, diversified into cycle manufacture and repairs in the early 20th century.
