David Wilkins (1685-1745) was Archdeacon of Suffolk, a classical scholar and antiquary. Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.
Ten volumes of sermons by David Wilkins, with 'an account of my sermons, when & where preached', 1717-45. Interspersed through the volumes are 23 sermons in a different hand, preached 1695-1719.
The volumes were bought from C.W. Traylen in 1961.
