Includes views of Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban, Lourenco Marques, Beira, Zanzibar, Mombasa, Aden, Port Sudan, Naples, Pompeii, Marseilles, Paris and London, with, at the end, pictures of Harrogate, York, Madeira, Cape Town, Victoria Falls and Kimberley, [20th century].

The papers were donated to the library by Mrs. H.J. Lyle, via the Cumbria Record Office, on 3rd April 2000.
