Sylvia G. Ward was the wife of [William Ernest] Frank Ward.
Frank Ward, (b 1900), CMG (1945) was educated at Dulwich College, at Lincoln College, Oxford and at Ridley Hall, Cambridge. He was a master at Achimota College, Gold Coast, 1924-1940, Director of Education, Mauritius, 1941-1946 and Deputy Education Adviser, Colonial Office, 1945. He continued as a part-time member of the education advisory staff from 1956 and worked for the Department of [Trade and Commerce], 1961-1963.
