Walter Frank Perkins (1865-1946) was a surveyor and MP, Mary Perkins
(his daughter) had been President of St. Hugh's College Junior Common Room
(JCR).

Papers relating to events at St. Hugh's College, Oxford, following the
dismissal of Cecilia M. Ady, history tutor, including:
- letters and papers collected by Walter Frank Perkins, MP, with
copies of minutes of meetings of the Junior Common Room and Students'
Committee, Nov.-Dec. 1923
- a typescript account of events at St. Hugh's, 1923-4, extracted
in 1956 from the diary of Mary Perkins, President of the JCR.
