Scope and Content

An unbound proof copy of Bevis Hillier, The Virgin’s Baby, with original photographs pasted-in and four appendices not printed in the published edition. At fols. 7-21 is an autograph ‘Foreword’ describing the author’s attempts to get the book into print and the reasons for the compilation of the version presented to the Bodleian Library, 2013. Fols. 409-412 have been inserted upside down.
