The material includes documents relating to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and its consequences; preparations for war; national mobilisation, 1941; the battlefields; German occupation; international relations, 1941-5; the liberation of Europe and the capitulation of Nazi Germany; and the aftermath and memory of war, 1945-95.
