Photocopies of documents displayed in an exhibition entitled 'The Great Patriotic War: Second World War Documents from the Russian Archives' at The National Archives, London, with copies of the exhibition captions in English, 1995.

The material includes documents relating to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and its consequences; preparations for war; national mobilisation, 1941; the battlefields; German occupation; international relations, 1941-5; the liberation of Europe and the capitulation of Nazi Germany; and the aftermath and memory of war, 1945-95.

Given to the Library by The National Archives in 1996.
