William Percival Sawyer was a newspaper reporter.
Sawyer's papers, consisting of indentures of apprenticeship as a reporter with the Oxford Times, 1915; journal, 1936-49, 1950-4; scrapbook of newscuttings, postcards, cigarette cards and other ephemera, 1923-76.
The papers were given to the Library by Mr W.P. Sawyer in 1980.Access Conditions
