On-line Catalogues of Western Manuscripts

Introduction

Current cataloguing is now being undertaken using EAD (Encoded Archival Description), and a programme of retrospective conversion of earlier catalogues is underway. Descriptions of printed catalogues of manuscripts can be found on the Western MSS. homepage. A large number of collection level descriptions can be found on the Archives Hub. For administrative convenience only, the on-line catalogues have been grouped into four sections.
