Map Case
Images from the Disraeli Exhibition at the Bodleian Library include Stanford's guide map to the constituencies of England & Wales, Ireland & Scotland. Published in 1868, it is the earliest example of British General Election held in the Bodleian Library. The Charting the Nation image collection at the University of Edinburgh includes a wide variety of single maps and maps in atlases and other bound books, together with important manuscript and printed texts relating to the geography and mapping of Scotland from 1550 to 1740 and beyond (including around 65 Bodleian images).

Oxford Digital Library

A large collection of scanned maps can be viewed in the Oxford Digital Library Maps on the Web pages

The images in the Map Case are taken from items in the map collections. Some of the maps have been reduced to fit a normal screensize, but reducing maps sometimes loses the detail, so other images are extracts from the whole map.
