| Data from the US Census 2000 can be downloaded and mapped using MapInfo. This guide takes you through the downloading and mapping step-by-step. This guide has been formatted for printing so you may wish to print it for reference while working. | ||||||||||||||||
| Important: The boundary files available in the Map Room (State, County, County sub-division, Tract, Block group and Urban areas) have been modified to include a geographic identifier field. Boundary files on the Census website do not have this field, which is required to join the tabular data to the map. | ||||||||||||||||
