A detailed catalogue of this political archive has been prepared and is available for distribution in paper format and on-line. The collection includes a wealth of material relating to the successive stages of Addison's career - as adviser to Lloyd George on the national health insurance bill and other welfare measures, on the Board of Education and in the Ministry of Munitions during the First World War, as post-war Minister of Reconstruction, President of the Local Government Board, Minister of Agriculture and leader of the Labour peers form 1945 to 1951.
