Bloxam & Fourdrinier. Stationers. At the Globe (c. 1772)

Bloxam & Fourdrinier, preceded by Baker & Fourdrinier at the same address (1757), were at the Globe in Lombard Street from 1767 and were trading as Bloxam & Fourdrinier until 1772 and in 1777. The firm had various changes of name, with additional Bloxams or Fourdriniers and also Walker. After 1803 it continued as the famous paper-making firm of Fourdrinier. The John Johnson Collection contains documents relating to the paper-making firm of Fourdrinier-Towgood.
