Bloxam & Fourdrinier. Stationers. At the Globe (c. 1772)
Bloxam & Fourdrinier, preceded by Baker & Fourdrinier
at the same address (1757), were at the Globe in Lombard Street from 1767 and
were trading as Bloxam & Fourdrinier until 1772 and in 1777. The firm had
various changes of name, with additional Bloxams or Fourdriniers and also
Walker. After 1803 it continued as the famous paper-making firm of Fourdrinier.
The John Johnson Collection contains documents relating to the paper-making firm
of Fourdrinier-Towgood.
