Bought of G. Daniell. Trunks (1800)
Daniell’s bill heading shows a trunk workshop, where the elegant customers
look a little out of place. With the increasing opportunities for travel, either
by coach within England or by ship abroad (the trade with both the East and the
West Indies is specifically referred to here), the trunk-maker’s skills were
much in demand and a wide variety of luggage was made.
