Interior of the Copper & Brass Works belonging to Wm. & Russell Pontifex, & E. Goldwin

This aquatint was drawn and published by Pyne & Nattes and aquatinted by I. Hill. Pyne & Nattes produced many etchings documenting trades at the beginning of the 19th century; this one is, however, very unusual, being large and an aquatint. It shows the interior of the factory of William and Russell Pontifex and E. Goldwin in Shoe Lane.
